The industrial town Nybro
Nybro City of dominance in the municipal industrial life has been found. It was therefore obvious to inspect the city's industrial environments and to work trying to cover this aspect of municipal industrial heritage. A tour was made among the city's industrial areas where the flora of
industrial buildings is both extensive and diverse. No in-depth inventory of Nybro urban industrial environment could not be done in the context of this work, so far from all besågs environments. Some areas were prioritized based on their historical significance or outside tip
from local contacts. Kährs was, as the city's largest and oldest industry, the only environment that was inspected even from inside.
Nybro are many historically interesting industrial environments. There is large-scale, small-scale environments, factories built by the original company and they changed to accommodate new manufacturing approaches or entirely new applications. By
interaction, alterations and "recycling" have industrial buildings have been saved to posterity as companies moved, decimated or closed. Here significant contributions made by the preservation of e.g. Pukebergs glassworks environment, Green Forest brewery, Ljungdahls old factory, Nybro Well carton, dairy and generator.
